DGSOM ASYLUM CLINIC

The DGSOM Asylum Clinic is a group of medical students, residents and volunteer clinicians dedicated to

​

(1) providing forensic medical and mental health evaluations to survivors of persecution seeking asylum in the United States

​

(2) exposing our medical students to issues affecting the physical and mental health of local refugee and immigrant communities

​

(3) expanding UCLA’s footprint in the arenas of research, policy and advocacy related to refugee and immigrant health.
